Absolute Black GRAPHEN Disc Brake Pads Description:

Absolute Black GRAPHEN Disc Brake Pads utilize state of the art materials and design to produce braking performance that is trusted by pro riders. Utilizing graphene throughout the high performance organic/ceramic braking pad compound and backing plates instead of toxic copper and other heavy metals allows for better thermal management and fast bed in times; several models of these pads even have a unique lattice style cooling fin that extends over the top of the brake caliper that will vent off excess heat. As a result of the advanced materials and design, these cooler and quieter running brake pads will deliver unprecedented levels of modulation, performance, and power that will give any cyclist the confidence to push their capabilities harder than ever before.

Note: Due to the handmade nature of these pads, a thicker coating layer on the leading and trailing edges of the backplate can occur. If you find that the pads don’t want to slot into the caliper easily, or when inserted don’t move freely, please remove them and sand the leading and trailing edges of the backplate until installation or free movement is possible.

• Backplates are entirely covered in graphene heat dissipating coating to achieve much greater heat transfer from the brake pad compound to the cooling fins
• Some models feature a patented angled radiator fin that extends over the top of the brake caliper and into the air flowing over the caliper for superior cooling and the significant reduction of heat induced brake fade
• Cooler brake pad operating temperatures provide better modulation, more predictable performance, and consistently more powerful brakes
• Using the specially modified graphene instead of toxic copper also allows these pads to be extraordinarily quiet even during long descends
