The Ritchey Comp Trail 35 Stem is a rugged and stiff stem that is designed hold up to the abuse of aggressive mountain biking. The 3D forged 6061 aluminum body features a 50mm wide, 4-bolt face plate is safe enough to use with the lightest weight alloy and carbon fiber handlebars, and at the same time this clamp design will increase the torsional stiffness and strength at that critical stem/handlebar junction. A unique bias cut steerer tube clamp with opposing stem clamp bolts will tenaciously grip onto the fork’s steerer tube, ensuring your handlebars are pointing in the right direction at all times. Add in a bead blasted finish that not only looks great but it helps to eliminate stresses that have built up in the manufacturing process as well as a budget friendly price, and you are left with a stout stem that is a great performance upgrade and an exceptional value.
